Protecting Your Information and Site Security
Kroll Factual Data uses industry best practice security technologies to safeguard Personally Identifiable Information and any other information you may provide us. We participate annually in the Verizon Business / CyberTrust SiteSecure program, which includes quarterly external vulnerability scans. In addition to this assessment, Kroll Factual Data participates in multiple third party audits and assessments of our controls and environments, including SSAE-16 SOC I (formerly SAS70 Type II). All clients must use two factor authentication to access PII data. All data is encrypted at rest (on storage devices) and while in motion (transit). Logical and physical access to data stores is restricted, requiring multiple levels of approval for access.
